Telecommunicator Basic Course 2006 is a set of web-based training modules that provide 58 hours of interactive training on topics that conform to APCO Project 33 Revised standards, recommended for telecommunicators nationwide.
Telecommunicator Refresher Course
24 hours of web-based training that has been developed in response to requests for refresher training for Public Safety Telecommunicators. This product provides training on critical skills and knowledge that telecommunicators must maintain to perform their mission.
Communications Center Supervisor
24 hours of interactive training designed for prospective, new, or experienced communications supervisors who want to enhance their knowledge and supervisory skills. Users should be experienced in communications center operations, have a working knowledge of policies and procedures, and be either in or under consideration for a supervisory position.
All will be online in the HITS Telecommunicator portal with no need for floppy or CD-ROM drives. This means your courseware is available to you from any computer with internet access 24 hours a day and 7 days a week during your annual subscription.
HITS Institute has made available to you now a selection of Law Enforcement, Safe Driving and General related subjects totaling 34 hours.
The official HITS Telecommunicator portal is now operational. All related subjects are available to you. All annual Individual Subscriptions purchased will receive a full year of access commencing on the date of activation. The price is $249 per annual individual subscription and you get one (1) free subscription for every five (5) that you purchase in a single order.
In the coming years HITS Institute will provide additional courseware, library content and News items at no additional charge to subscribers.
