First Aid

Description
This module introduces first responder actions during a medical emergency: primary and secondary survey procedures, shock symptoms and treatment, substance abuse awareness, wounds and bleeding, fractures, and heat, cold, and head injuries. Note: The training in this lesson is NOT a substitute for certified CPR training given by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
