If your training objectives are to meet training
mandates, address liability concerns, and increase
skill levels, this course will meet and exceed training
expectations. The curriculum is an education-based
model, designed from an adult learning perspective
with strong consideration given to a variety of learning
styles. The curriculum has been delivered to over
7000 students, and used to train over 500 instructors
in the public and private sector (the greater percentage
in the criminal justice system) in the US and internationally.
The curriculum builds upon core competencies and skills
that are immediately applicable while working with
the community. The course will take approximately
eight (8) hours to complete, four (4) units each in
two (2) hour blocks, or within a single training session.
It can be delivered as a stand alone or with a facilitator.
